Attorney Kelly J. M. Quardokus has been practicing law for 20+ years, and started her own firm, Q Elderlaw, PLC, in 2010. and locally at Legal Aid of Western Michigan. Throughout her career, advocating for vulnerable populations has been a passion for Kelly Q. She still remains active locally and at a statewide level with many organizations working to advocate for vulnerable populations - especially seniors. Kelly was the recipient of the Joe D. Sutton Call to Justice Leadership Award in 2015. Kelly Q. and her husband John Q. have two children, both attending Grand Valley State University Honor's College. Kelly Q. and John Q. have played on a Sunday afternoon co-ed softball league for over 20 years and may retire the cleats soon, but not quite yet. However, Monday appointments may notice Kelly Q. moving a little slower after game day. Kelly Q. and John Q. also enjoy teaching youth group, volunteering at their church, and spending time with their children, family, and friends. Kelly Q. is a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation, a Council Member of the State Bar of Michigan's Elder Law & Disability Rights Section, a member of the Older Adult Services Advisory Council for Kalamazoo County, a member of the Dispute Resolution Center Advisory Council at Gryphon Place, a board member of the Lending Hands Inc., a member of the Calhoun County and Kalamazoo County Elder Abuse Prevention Coalitions, the Veteran-Community Partnership of Southwest Michigan, and the Kalamazoo County Advocates for Senior Issues (KCASI). Kelly Q. is a cum laude graduate of both Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Western Michigan University.
